Dr. Kim focuses on providing compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to the individual needs and comfort of his Winnipeg patients.
Missions
- Ecuador: Dr. Kim provided restorative & emergency dental cares to the underprivileged people in the community.
- Jamaica: Similar to the dental mission trip to Ecuador, Dr. Kim provided dental treatment for the underprivileged people.
- Brazil: Dr. Kim created and facilitated activities for senior residents in a local home in order to prevent the cognitive deterioration from aging.

Dr. Allen Kim
Dr. Allen Kim completed a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Biology and Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University. His interdisciplinary academic background fostered a strong understanding of both the biological sciences and the connection to healthcare.
He later pursued dentistry at University of Manitoba, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (BSc. Dent) and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Throughout his training, he developed a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individuals needs and comfort.
Beyond academics and clinical practice, Dr. Allen Kim has been actively involved in community outreach and service initiatives. He participated in mission trip to Brazil and dental mission trips to Jamaica and Ecuador, experiences that strengthened his appreciation for accessible oral healthcare and cultural variations.
He has also dedicated time to volunteering in long-term care homes and supporting oral health promotion initiatives within the community. These experiences reinforced his commitment to education, prevention, and improving overall patient well-being both inside and outside the clinic.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Allen Kim enjoys cooking, exploring local coffee shops, and playing tennis. He values maintaining a balanced lifestyle and bringing warmth, positivity, and genuine care to every patient interaction.

I love getting to know my patients in order to help them make treatment decisions that are right for them. I think the expression, "I'm the expert, YOU'RE the boss" sums it up best; I probably say it on a daily basis!
