Dental Bonding

Our Winnipeg dentists use dental bonding to repair a variety of dental problems such as gaps, chips and cracks, to give you a healthier, more even smile.

What does cosmetic bonding involve?

A cosmetic bonding appointment usually takes between one to two hours, depending on the extent of the work to be done.

Dental bonding involves applying a composite resin material that closely mimics that natural colour and texture of your teeth onto the damaged tooth to cover up small cracks or gaps. The material is then hardened, smoothed and polished.

Cosmetic bonding usually involves no drilling or anesthetic and we can bond several teeth during a single visit. In fact, dental bonding is among the most inexpensive and convenient ways to achieve a great smile!

Maintenance

Your regular oral hygiene routine won't have to change at all as a result of getting dental bonding. Simply continue to brush and floss daily, as usual. Your teeth will have a different size and shape after the bonding is applied and this may take a couple of weeks to get used to. After that, you won't notice that your bonding is there at all.
