Dr. Lucy Yan
Born in Beijing, China, Dr. Yan immigrated to Canada when she was 8 years old. Her family settled in Winnipeg and has been here ever since.
Dr. Yan graduated from the University of Manitoba receiving her Bachelor of Science, Microbiology Major in 2008 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2012.
Before entering dental school, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Manitoba Department of Immunology and at St. Boniface Research Centre. Following graduation she started working in Winkler Manitoba until she joined the Waverley Dental team.
Dr. Yan enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She is dedicated to helping others and prides herself in providing personalized quality care to all her patients. Her calm and compassionate demeanor have proven to be quality assets in putting her patients at ease.
During her free time, Lucy enjoys cooking, travelling and working out, as well as spending time with her husband and daughter.
